Once again, the scanner faded the vibrant colors of the maple leaf. It is made with metallic card stock and shiny greeting card paper.

 

The words on the background paper read: I love you I love you I love you.

The heart is made from wrapping paper and the white background is textured.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This year (2009) I decided to make Christmas cards. Had no clue what an undertaking that would become before I finished. Made over 90 cards.

 

This first card is absolutely lovely in real life. A fabric looking gold wrapping paper, along with a red wrapping paper. A fabric ribbon tops it off.

This next tree was made from silver/white/black stripped paper and the red as in the tree above. I wasn't too thrilled with the outcome because the silver stripped paper broke along the folds so it was a bit untidy. A silver bow tops off the tree.

 

This last tree, actually the first I made, is constructed of ribbon. The tree stump is a sticker. This one happens to be a rather large gift box, but the stickers came in assorted sizes, some much narrower.
