Image A is an outline. I first drew a light sketch
with a pencil just to get an idea of where to put the ink.
Very quick process.
Image B is outlined in ink, somewhat following the pencil
outline, then I began filling in areas as the muse moved.
Image C is more of the same.
Image D, a continuation of image C.
Image E. Notice the curly edge along the bottom is larger
than in image D. It looked funny to me so I made it larger
before filling in with my favorite engraving stroke.
Images F-H are just more filling in spaces.
I use the Technical Pen book listed on the Resources page
when I'm stumped for different strokes to use.
Image I is completed and I signed
my name.
