January 28
We're off to a great start for the new year. To begin with we've added another guest artist: Ria Designs. Make sure to check out her work. Also, the doodling bug is biting and I'm spending as much time as I can at the drawing board. Because I'm using paper too large for my scanner though, I'll save them up and take a bunch to Kinkos at once. That means, look for a new batch from me sometime early summer.

2009

October 17

Finished another doodle I found about a third done from circa 2006. I THINK that catches me up on unfinished work. But, life is full of surprises!

October 14

Aha, at last I uploaded two new doodles. Well, sort of new. They've been lying around half finished, one for several months and another from last year.

June 28

Making final tweaks that should be completed tonight and uploaded. After that it will be a matter of updating as I add new doodles or cards. Would be nice if more guest artists joined, especially children.

June 26

Tonight I finally uploaded to the doodle-art site. So I'm up and running again, but know there are typos that need correction.

June 22

Tonight I uploaded this site onto my test site that I use to make sure websites I'm working on actually work. All kinds of problems I'm struggling through, but I'm getting there. Might make it by the end of the month after all. Definitely looking forward to having some evenings for doodling and paper crafting.

June 21

Coming along quite well on the new website, but oh, learning strict code is a challenge. Eventually it will become a natural language, but for now, well, I bought a book on CSS and how to write code. Now if I could just get the time to read it...

June 8

In early May my computer was invaded by a merciless hacker who wiped out both of my hard drives and rendered my C drive useless. Since I had to start all over, and I'd learned that Microsoft had phased out FrontPage 2003 so web hosts are also dropping support, I decided time had arrived to upgrade my computer. Fixed the 7-year-old desktop and purchased a laptop with a 64-bit OS. That meant I also had to have new software and printers. This has been an intense course in getting up to speed with technology so I've not been doodling or making greeting cards. I've been spending all my evenings redoing my web site in Expression Web 2.

April 25

I've been quite busy for the last couple of months teaching myself the art of iris folding on greeting cards, so I've created a new section: Paper Crafting. This will encompass the various art forms I use as I gain more experience.

February 25

Currently I'm enjoying exploring all sorts of paper craft so I'm taking a break from doodles. I will, however, incorporate them into some of my card making creations. Perhaps I'll even display some on this site.
